Plan now to attend the annual Earth Day Celebration

Enjoy a day of live music, conservation education, games, crafts and displays by local clubs and organizations.
Zoo admission will be free for children 12 and under with purchase of an adult ticket and a can of food for the Idaho Falls Food Bank or a recyclable item.

Clean Transportation Show

Come display your alternatively fueled or hyper-efficient vehicles at this year's Earth Day Celebration.

Challenge Course Run

Jump, run, crawl! It’s the Earth Day challenge course run. Ready, set… give it your all on this 9-challenge course designed to challenge balance, agility, and endurance in kids ages 3-14! You’ll get dirty! You’ll sweat! But most of all, you’ll have Fun!

Skateboard Competition

Registration: 12:00-1:00 pm
Competition: 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Prizes awarded Best Street Run and Best Trick in beginner, intermediate and advanced categories. More info

Food and Entertainment (Entertainment Schedule)

Raffles, main stage entertainment, solar viewing, kid's crafts and food vendors will make the day a fun day for all ages. Food vendors include Doug's Dogs, Granny's Fun Food, Kona Ice, Park Avenue Grill, Sergio's Delights, and Winder's Original Funnel Cakes.

  • Rechargeable and alkaline batteries

NIE Earth Day Supplement 2020!

Eastern Idaho Environmental Education Association and the Post Register's Newspaper in Education Program will create a 32-page educational supplement that will be included in the Post Register during April 2020.

Kid's Crafts

Have fun creating crafts from recyclables, including windmills, flower pots, TP bracelets, egg carton bugs and many more fun crafts!

Solar Viewing Party

The Idaho Falls Astronomical Society will bring their solar telescopes to Earth Day. Come and safely view the sun. See arcs of flame and sunspots. We will have amateur astronomers on hand to answer your questions about astronomy, telescopes and the cosmos.
