Girl Scout Go Green Bronze TeamAdrien Davidson1779 Burlwood Idaho Falls83402adrien.davidson@gmail.com208-317-5114Sunny KatseanesInside12x12NoNoThis booth is a Girl Scout Bronze Award project involving a team of ten 5th grade Junior Girl Scouts. We will educate community children on how to grow a small vegetable garden at their own homes. The team will provide information about plants that are easy to grow in this area, and instructions on how to plant and care for a simple garden. The team will also provide materials so children can create their own quick, easy planting strips of seeds to take home and use to start a garden. The activity will include gluing carrot and radish seeds to newspaper strips, which Earth Day participants can then plant at home. The goal is to provide area children an easy way to begin their own food production, and stimulating interest in gardening.

Each magnet will consist of the bottle cap, an epoxy disk, a magnet and stickers, scrap paper and other small items to decorate the magnet. We hope to charge either $1 or $1.50 per craft (depending on final supply costs). There are 8 girls in the troop and two troop leaders to handle money and supervise. In addition, each girl will have one of their parents help at the booth. The purpose of this fund raiser is to earn money for the girls to travel to Savannah, Georgia to visit the birthplace of Girl Scouts.
